o Each group will choose one of the three stories mentioned in the
textbook to enact such that two groups are doing one story. This
will bring out two different perspectives of the same story. For e.g.:
The first story on Kanta would have two conclusions. 1 – Kanta
accepts her fate. 2 Kanta will protest and make a difference.
o Each group will read their story and enact it with dialogues written
on their own.
o Time for putting together the dialogues – 10 mins
o Time for role play – 2 minutes each group
o Ask students to rate their own performance on a scale of 1 to 10 for
performance, originality and punch line.
❖ Suggestions
o Ask the students to be as creative and original as possible and also
include their own experiences into the enactment.
o Each group will give their opinion at the end of the enactment in
two to three sentences.
o Brainstorm:
o What is the difference between the three stories given?
o Varied answers: first one talks about opportunities on conditions
of living, second one on opportunities in education and the third
on talks about inequality based on caste.
