SAFTA – The Agreement on South Asian Free Trade Area

The SAFTA was signed in January 2004 to create a free trade area within the South Asian region. Below are the countries that have signed the SAFTA agreement.

Task 1: With a partner, find out what goods and commodities India has exported to any two other countries from the list below.

Task 2: Remember we studied globalization in a chapter before? Write a story on how a young girl in Afghanistan can benefit from the goods and services India is exporting to her country. You can refer to the SAFTA website for more information.
