The Directive Principles of State policy in our lives today

In the DASH resource bank, you will find four videos about the following:

1. Economic growth of India.
2. SEWA – an organization growing on Gandhian principles.
3. A ted talk by The Ugly Indian about keeping our local environment clean.
4. How can we get faster justice in India.

You must divide the class in four groups, and each group must see one of the videos above. Then, they must identify which of the categories of directive principles does each video relate to.

As a group, the kids must prepare a talk including the following:

• A summary of their video
• What about the application of concepts from the directive principles did they understand from the videos
